What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Apart from the joy of helping students, last year, I had the chance to do some voluntary teaching for orphans who could not afford English lessons. It was a provoking experience for me, and I learnt a lot thanks to all the kids. It was very challenging at first, yet inspiring to know how I could contribute to the society and how important education is.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Passion, enthusiasm and determination. I like to look at the problem under the student's perspective. For students, it's not only about how the tutors solve the problems, it's also about the interpretation and communication that tutors try to connect with students. My strength is that I can relate the problem to most of the simple task that students face everyday. In order to make questions sound uncomplicated, I can familiarize them for my students and guide them to solutions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being a tutor brings me valuable lessons, one of which is to ensure the students understand the concepts through problems. It was quite challenging at first because some problems were quite tricky and the students could give up. But it was extremely important to make them believe that they can solve it by step-by-step instruction. It is not an easy task and I have learnt that I must observe the problem from the students' perspective, and then it is much more straightforward. When they correctly solve a problem, it is always a very joyful experience to see their smile on the face.
