What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Helping students to grow and help them to understand concepts that they may not have before to help them grow in confidence. I have a strong desire for improving children's lives because I strongly believe that if you provide the proper support and encouragement you enable them to develop a level of confidence in their own abilities that help them to thrive at school and genuinely enjoy their time there which in turns helps them to achieve their full potential.
I enjoy creating a connection with the students and also helping them to enjoy learning through this rewarding job.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think I can present different concepts in a number of ways and hence can tailor my approach to the students needs. Because we all think and learn differently I think identifying this early helps to gain the best out of the student and help them to develop a firmer understanding. I have an outing and bubbly personality so think I can be engaging and create a strong connection with the student which can help to foster a strong working relationship and hence, help them to reach their goals.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Listen to them to develop an understanding of the areas they may struggle with or are looking for extra support in. I think also being creative in my approach when required so that the student gets the most out of the sessions and helps them to develop a better understanding. As a result, I think it is important to understand how the student learns best. This helps to create a more effective session as it helps to get the best out the student. Additionally, challenging when appropriate can also help to develop their confidence which they can take into the classroom.
