What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

It comes down to the basic desire to help others. I believe that there's a certain satisfaction that comes with being able to help a student understand a concept to a level that they wouldn't be able to do on their own. There are many teachers, whether they be teachers online or teachers that I know personally who I admire for being able to take something that I initially found dry and obtuse and make a genuinely engaging and effective lesson around it. Not everyone is able to do that but I hope to be able to emulate them myself.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I am able to comprehend the content and break it down into more understandable chunks for a student. I also understand that not every student learns in the same manner and am willing to adapt my teaching style to what suits each student best. As a tutor, I also believe that teaching isn't the entirety of my job. Students learn best when they are taught by someone they feel comfortable with and someone who engages them and to that end I feel my personality is a good fit for the job.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Aside from the obvious answer of teaching the student the content he/she is having trouble with, I think there are things the tutor can do that can continue to benefit the student long after lessons have ended. Things like good study habits, problem solving skills and good communication are virtues that can be picked up from a tutor and can be applied to any area of the student's life. This I believe can be the most significant benefit.
