What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find enjoyment in helping others to succeed. What I will enjoy most about tutoring is being able to form a relationship with my students to push them toward their academic endeavors. I will feel satisfied making a difference in another person's life, by mentoring them and utilising the knowledge that I've obtained over the course of my studies.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a methodical person and take carefully thought-out approaches in my teaching. I try to be as engaging as I can and relate new content to existing knowledge in order to make it meaningful. As a learner, I focus on deeply understanding new concepts, rather than spending hours studying meaninglessly, and will pass this useful trait on to my students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to inspire them into a love for learning. How 'smart' a student becomes or the amount of content that they have learned is important, however, inspiring the student to find motivation and passion for learning is the most important aspect in my opinion. This will be achieved by embracing a positive mindset toward challenges and teaching them techniques to approach difficult questions. A tutor should also be a role model and mentor for their student, forming a relationship where the student feels comfortable seeking help from the tutor
