What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
For me, it is seeing the growth of my students. As much as marks matter, there is nothing better then seeing a students confidence blossom in a subject they were initially hesitant in.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think that my key strengths as a tutor are my ability to adapt my teaching style to specific students and my experience teaching a wide range of subjects. I genuinely love tutoring and helping students navigate their way through their school journey. It is this passion which I believe is imperative in ensuring the success of any tutor.
For example, one student I tutored had quite severe ADHD and struggled in a classroom environment. However, in our tutoring sessions I was able to adapt to the contact to the format of his ideal learning style and his attitude towards the subject switched.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is wholly believe in their capabilities. If a tutor/ teacher doesn't think that a student can succeed then it's pretty impossible to effectively help. Of course, this goes the other way as it is a tutors responsibility to ensure that the student believes in their own ability to succeed.
