What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think the most enjoyable thing about being a tutor isn't a job, I feel it is more like a learning process. I also need to learn how to make my language be simple and easy to understand. And when the students can get the point of what I said, I feel proud of them. The tutor and the students is a friendly relationship, they can ask any questions about what they want to know.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have enough patience. If students constantly feel it's hard to understand the content, I will explain it over and over again until they can understand. And also, if some Chinese students are struggling with learning English content, I can use Chinese to convert the meaning and help them understand better. I want to help this group of students who can do the questions but can't understand the questions they are asking.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think being a good tutor should be encouraging and passionate. And tutors should know what students need for help on their strengths and weakness. Also, tutors also should always encourage students to be brave in asking questions so the students can get faster improvement. Especially for young age students, they are hard to focus but it's important to make the lesson feel active and passionate.
