What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I tutor because it means that I am able to make a positive difference. I enjoy tutoring because I want to be apart of a child's life to help them perform better academically. Not only do I enjoy helping them academically, but after getting to know them , I believe I also can positively impact them on their life decisions outside of school. Whilst I teach the students I also learn from them and gain insight into how different each and every person in. Tutoring also allows me to be flexible with my studies and careers, and it is an independent job.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that I am a very enthusiastic person that can persuade or motivate my student to perform to their best ability. I am also understanding and patient. I am able to identify the different needs and wants that my student has, and can easily adapt my teaching methods to suit them. I am also a very attentive listener, which is a strength as a tutor, because a good listener is able to understand their student's misconceptions or weaknesses. I also am a very caring and compassionate person which means I can meaningfully connect with my students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is to personalise your teaching. The kids are not always going to like one style of teaching, and it is best to identify their needs and wants in order to tailor your teaching to ensure they have the best quality experience. Additionally, the best thing a tutor can do is to be patient. Every student is different, and some may get the hang of things at a slower pace or they may not be motivated to complete their homework. It is best to work at a pace that they are comfortable with whilst pushing them a bit to ensure they achieve amazing results.
