What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Challenge and innovation are the two aspects that attract me towards tutoring. Tutoring has its own type of challenge, ranging from concepts themself being challenging and making the student understand concepts. This forces tutors to always build their knowledge and adopt innovative teaching techniques with time to enhance student engagement towards their academics. This idea of self-development and building new skills makes this role enjoyable as I’m always motivated and proactive to upgrade myself. Tutoring also gives the chance to increase social contacts making it an enjoyable experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
A major strength of mine as a tutor is the energy I show during my lessons. My passion for teaching increases my motivation, making the lesson more flexible, friendly, and innovative. I always like challenging students, so using my creativity I develop my own questions from time to time and expose students to something different. I’m also very adaptable and have the ability to tailor my teaching methods to overcome the weaknesses of a student. Alongside, I also have the ability to mentor students, giving them study tips to bring about efficiency in their study patterns.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is simply to understand them properly and develop a connection with them. Understanding the student will help identify the student’s strengths and weaknesses assisting tutors to create targetted sessions. This can also help tutors understand the working habits of the student, giving them the opportunity to mentor the student to provide that extra mental and academic support overall. The stronger the bond is between a tutor and a student, the better the experience will become from both sides, making sessions enjoyable yet productive.

The student was still struggling to apply the chain rule effectively. He was able to apply it to the basic questions however when the questions got a bit challenging, he was unable to pick up the use of the chain rule. Also, when the questions required the use of more than 1 rule, the student was also finding it a bit challenging.
Overall the student was able to understand the concepts really well and very quickly.

The student is not able to think outside the box at times which makes the questions a bit more challenging than they are to him. Also, he isn't able to pick up where we can use which rule at times, so a bit more practice with these questions will be really beneficial for the student.
