What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring is enjoyable as it allows both myself and mentee's personal growth in the form of both being able to see an increase in enjoyment in the subject as well as results improving to a degree that they are pleased with themselves. Allowing mentees to achieve their goals and aspirations in a subject and further their knowledge and their problem solving skills, useful in the real world, which I ultimately find satisfying as I know I helped another student achieve and perfect a skillset.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Personally, from my beliefs and feedbacks from peers, my strengths as a tutor is understanding the different requirements and needs of each individual student, seeking a method for the mentee such that they can maximise their understanding for the topic and subject. Furthermore, without my strengths in connecting with the students, I would not have the capability to target their flaws, hence why another strength of mine that supports my ability to find mentees' needs is communication.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The answer is easy. Be a good tutor. However what does a good tutor entail? In my 6 years of high schooling, I have made many observations between a mentor/ teacher that can teach, in comparison to a teacher that knows the content very well. The most important thing a tutor can do for their student, is the connection they between each each other. If a tutor understand their student well, will eventually allow the tutor to target the weaknesses and flaws within the students' abilities and understanding. At the same time, tutors can also boost the students' overall abilities if required.
