What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As a tutor and past student, I appreciate the impact a tutor can have on a students wellbeing, and hence I thoroughly enjoy providing consistent support as well as reassurance to students who are doubtful of their own abilities. Whilst I enjoy providing consistent support and motivation to students throughout their year, I also enjoy the challenge of modifying my teaching in a way that specifically caters to a student's learning. As I understand students learn in a variety of different ways, I find it intriguing to attempt new modes of teaching to best faciliate a solid understanding.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Firstly through my experience within a sporting context, I understand the individuality of learning and hence possess good adaptability to a students learning style, to best faciliate them. Secondly, through my own experience as a student, I understand the importance of a nurturing environment for learning , and hence see my approachability as a strength in establishing an environment for which students feel comfortable to test and apply their knowledge. Without a doubt, I believe it is essential for a tutor to nurture and grow self-belief within their students beyond anything else. Self-belief is perhaps the most pivotal factor in deciding academic success as well as personal success, and thus I see it as an important quality for a tutor to develop .
