What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I love the interaction and the feeling when you can deliver the knowledge to students and for them to be able to apply the knowledge in real-life applications. However, I do not expect students to learn in a fast-paced as I believe in a learning curve perspective. Putting a lot of effort in a short time won't result in more excellent knowledge, but putting equal effort within a long-term and patient can result in an understanding of the topics and the whys and hows.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am confident in my ability to convey complex information in a simple manner. I can achieve this by using real-life examples and explaining stages that students may not understand. I'm also tolerant with students because verbal pressure weakens their mental state. My brother said he liked maths because of what I taught him online. I can help pupils demonstrate appreciation in areas of study they are not interested in from the cover.
Most important things I can do for a student π
It is essential to understand students' understanding of their topic to assess their skill set appropriately. Failing to do this may cause pushing students ability where some basics for the topic has not been reached. To teach proper, we have to see from the student's point of view. We should ask ourselves as a tutor, Is this understandable? If the topic is complicated, how should I effectively? Deliver it without stressing the students.
