What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring because I want to see kids not fail and I want to see them succeed and succeed even more than me because it feels rewarding. It is another step for me to return some help to students in a way I couldn't do before. I want to tutor because I don't want students to feel stuck or procrastinate by themselves and I want to help them reach their goals through their time at school.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I believe my strengths are being a life-long learner and taking initiative in helping my student solve problems in their studies. I want to be always improving not only for my own teaching practice but also for the existing client and future students who I will be ending up teaching. The last this I want to do is leave a negative experience and indirectly cause students to hate going to tutoring. Tutoring is fun and rewarding and I want to be enjoyable by facilitating my client's academic goals as much as possible. I also used to give feedback sheets for my students so I could review myself.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most important role of tutors is to help and see their students achieve their academic goals. This is done by being disciplined, committed, and compassionate towards the student's learning. When tutors meet students they need to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and areas of concern. Tutors need to identify these for their student(s) and they need to be confident in answering the student's enquires. Tutors are also expected to take initiative and management to prepare for the student's next classes as well as other roles so that they remain committed towards the student's goals.
