What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring lies in the outcome of my teaching young people. Seeing the growth of my students and witnessing their enthusiasm for self-growth and development is what I enjoy most about tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I bring a comprehensive set of skills that I believe will be valuable to Ezy Math Tutoring. In my tutor role, I honed my abilities in secondary education and adaptability to the learning needs of the students, providing a firm foundation for the Ezy Math tutor position. My teamwork, people-centric nature, and compassion have afforded me excellent communication skills.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider the following as critical things a tutor can do for a student:
- Ability to empathise with the student. This helps with connecting with the students, and creates a safe learning space for them
- Ability to listen. In the classroom settings, some teachers are unable to connect with all the students due to the large number and rigid structure of a formal education setting. So, they tend to not notice or listen out for non verbal cues which indicates when a student is finding a topic hard to follow.
- A tutor should be self-disciplined in order to guide a student on a focused path.

None for now. Promises to keep in mind to let the tutor know when her teaching style makes him uncomfortable so she can modify her behaviour accordingly.
