What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
To me, the best part about tutoring would be being able to see the students be successful at the subject. This would be the most enjoyable part because I can see my efforts reap tangible results and see my efforts making a contribution in someone else's life and this would make me feel very happy.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths are being organised, detail-oriented and flexible. Hence, at first, I would focus on getting to know the student better (understanding the areas they require help in and the areas they are good at,how they grasp information and teach them concepts accordingly). I would look through the syllabus, confirm the resources required in order to be prepared for the lesson. As a student myself, I have done extracurriculars which has helped me develop my communication skills and work in a team. Tutoring would be an interactive experience where I incorporate feedback and keep improving.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing I can do as a tutor would be building a sense of connection and trust with them and be a friend or mentor who can help them understand their own strengths and help them learn new things in the best way possible. As a tutor, it is important to be able to understand what a student wishes to improve and what they're good at so that we can motivate them to continue doing well and work harder for things that need more practice. Overall, they best thing we can do as a tutor would be making them feel excited and confident to learn a subject.
