What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to work with students and watching their growth. Having the role of tutor, I feel a sense of responsibility to meet my clients’ expectations in regards to the students’ progress, hence I put in a lot of hard work and effort to ensure my students are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills required to successfully complete their exams. I gain the most satisfaction when I watch the kids progress through their studies, wherein it is ultimately so rewarding to see them thrive in their success.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very determined and hardworking. When a student showcases their inability to comprehend an area of concern, I will explain it to the best of my ability. If they appear to struggle with understanding a specific concept, I will continue to show them a variety of ways to arrive at the same solution, until they establish which method works best for them. I am also very approachable and open, ensuring that students learn effectively while also being open to feedback that will help them learn better.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe it is essential for a tutor to be able to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a student so that the areas of focus for a student become more distinct. As a tutor, it’s also important to acknowledge the fact that every student processes information at different rates and hence it’s pivotal that a tutor educates students at a pace respective to their individual learning capabilities. Thus, students will benefit most out of highly focused tutoring sessions that cater to their specific needs.
