I enjoy creating a bond with a student that leads to a trust in me to provide on-going support. A tutor should have good listening skills so that they will better understand students' misconceptions and struggles. It is important to treat each student and how you go about emphasising the content to the students uniquely. A good tutor should aim to be relatable and open to share own experiences with learning and highlight that it isn't an issue to not understand something the first time it is taught. Lastly, it is obviously important for a tutor to teach content and get information across but it is equally just as important to teach students how to learn - figure out how they learn best.Testimonials 🏆
