My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are that I have an ability of simplifying problems down to a basic level. Thereby, when explaining concepts to students, once they learnt the basic format/method, they can then easily apply their knowledge to further complex problems. I try and always be available to students, sometimes leaving them with my email address in case they come across any difficulties throughout the week. My weakness would be trying to explain mathematical concepts to very young primary students as I tend to revert to algebra mostly in my mind.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As a student, I am fully aware of social pressures in school whereby a student may not be able to understand a concept completely. As a tutor, if I am able to truly help a student excell in their subject by thoroughly revising topics, and addressing any and all concerns, until they are able to confidently answer questions by themselves, I would consider myself to be a successful tutor.
