What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring allows me to interact with other people regarding things which excite me as well. Mathematics especially is more of a puzzle for rather than a subject. Since these subjects, unlimited possibilities the puzzle is never actually solved which prevents me from getting bored. Also as an engineering student, there are a lot of intriguing patterns which I realize every time I am explaining something which I had done a few years ago.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My skill is not solving all the questions instantly. I am a good student and have been in the top 15% percentile. However, have not been close to getting all the answers correct during an exam. However, it's my problem-solving skills which allow me to understand the mistake as soon as I realize I have made. Moreover, I believe in teaching its the concept which the child has to understand and not the questions. For instance, if 1 question is tough and someone was to explain it to them, they would still not be able to a similar question the very next day. Its the strategy and the methodology.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors have two roles, One is to actively support the student who might be struggling to cope up with their peers and/or looking to improve their performance. The second is to make the student learn in a different environment from their school. Schools have multiple children and every child has some issue they are facing. As a tutor sitting 1-1 the student feels more free, less stressful and learns better
