What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

There is a moment of comprehension when a student goes from frustration and seeking on a topic, to understanding. Many people call it the "light bulb" effect. I love to see someone make those connections and as a result feel more confident navigating the world around them. Being the person to equip them with those tools and revelations is extremely rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very patient and quite good with finding relatable examples to an individual's situation. That, combined with my attention to detail and extensive experience with grammar and spelling gives me an advantage when helping a seeker master this language.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Encouragement. Learning something new can be hard. Things that do not come easily have the potential to discourage us, but the only way for anyone to fail is if they give up. As a tutor it is my number one priority to emphasize the successes of each student, and to find ways to inspire them to keep trying to learn. I will consider each session of mine a success if my student walks away from it feeling like they have done well, whatever the result of the session.
