What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Helping others has always been the most meaningful thing that I've been doing. I really love to share my knowledge and learning experience with other students so that they can benefit from my sharing, improve their understanding towards the content, as well as gain interest in the subject for greater use and application. Moreover, tutoring enables me to work on individuals who are struggling or need guidance. For me, witnessing their improvement on the subject would be the most rewarding to do. I think for a tutor, possessing proficient knowledge expertise regarding the subject area I'm teaching is important to student. Therefore, tutor should fully prepare for the material and practice how to articulate the content before conducting the actual lesson. Moreover, a tutor needs flexibility, openness and patience. There are certain tough situations where a student gets stuck on a problem. In which case tutor should re-phrase from a different perspective or re-invent the situation until the student understands the problem completely.
