What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I personally enjoy seeing the sudden spark of intrigue as the student understands a difficult topic as it reminds me of myself when I am studying a hard topic. I also enjoy taking the time to understand the student and how they think as it better helps with the learning process. Inspiring the student to continue studying in a joyful manner is my goal as a tutor, as when you enjoy learning a subject, it creates a positive loop where the student is engaged in learning by themselves.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor is the tenacity and passion to spread education to students in a detailed yet clear and digestible manner. I often use analogies, examples and visual stimulus in conjunction with their learning style and foundational knowledge to help enhance the learning experience. When faced with a topic I am unsure about, I will study the topic until I understand to a degree where I can explain it in a simple, yet succinct explanation.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing for a tutor to do for a student is to be patient, show compassion and adapt to their learning styles, whilst providing them with a strong foundation for the student to grow from and encourage them to be confident and intrigued with the subject; preparing themselves in a loop where their understanding of a subject provokes them to become more engrossed with the subject and wanting to learn more.
