What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy sharing my passion for certain subjects with others and being able to explain the same idea in different ways to different people. This shows how everyone's brain works differently and how one stock-standard explanation doesn't work for everyone.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have a strong ability to connect with others and I realise that explaining something in its most simple form is the key to a student having a fuller, more meaningful level of understanding.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor is more than a teacher. A teachers job is to give a student a base level of understanding whereas a tutor can build on that and go further. This allows students to revisit sections that the teacher brushed over or to build on sections they seemingly understand to ensure they can answer a greater range of question types. Along with the teaching of a subject, the tutor is there to mentor the student to not only show them the subject but the bigger picture of how important the subject is to achieving success outside of school.
