What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The most enjoyable part about tutoring has always been, and always will be, watching a student's ongoing improvement.
The heart-works behind my belief is that an education is empowering. By extension, seeing a student's improvement is the same as seeing them better themselves, empower themselves, and ultimately reach their potential.
Being alongside someone on this journey is what I love most about tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I pride myself in being a hard-worker, a fast learner, and a person who's willing to do my all in everything I do. Moreover, I never give up on myself and I keep my goals at the forefront of my mind.
By extension, I will never give up on my students, and their goals are at the forefront of my mind. Just as I believe in myself, I believe that every student can succeed in English and every other subject.
With the proper encouragement, motivation and tools I'll ensure my students meet their potential.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Different students have different skills. I believe recognising this is what helps a tutor make a difference to a student.
The most important thing is that a tutor recognises a student as an individual; addressing areas where a student has little confidence while offering lifelong learning strategies.
At a practical level, this includes altering my style to suit a student's specific needs. From essays to creatives to speeches - I believe in targeting error-prone areas, highlighting a student's skills and helping them find their own writing style.
In this way, a student learns for life.
