I think the most important thing a tutor can do is equipping the student with the resources and tips they need to be able to be good and excel at a subject. Especially in english, it is important for the student to have the knowledge and analytical way of thinking to really excel and i think once they have been taught how to think this way they will be able to apply these skills to anything they do in life.
