My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor my strengths would be: Being able to relate to those younger than me. Being able to give multiple examples to the same problem in case the student does not understand the concept. Ensuring the student understands why they are studying the particular topic and being able to give real life applications to their problems. Making students feel comfortable in their work environment. My weaknesses as a tutor would be: If i were to come accross a topic i had not studied in a while for example year 11 statics i would first need to take 2-3 minutes of reading to refresh myself.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In my experience the most important thing i can do for a student is to make them feel comfortable asking questions. Many students need the same topic explained in 2 or 3 different ways. If a student does not feel comfortable saying they do not understand then they will pretend to understand the topic in order to move on to the next. this does not help the student in their learning so it is critical that they feel comfortable to say that they do not understand so i can relay the information in a different mannor.
