What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I most enjoy the interaction I gain from tutoring individuals. What excites me the most is when a student is able to to realise the potential within themselves to achieve the results they desire. Although the direct impact upon the student's grades are important, what I find most satisfying is knowing the influence I had made on the individual's academic pathway, knowing that they will be able to achieve brilliant feats with the right help and support.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a people's person. As tutoring requires clear communication and genuine connection, my strong interpersonal skills allows me to easily talk and connect with individuals of all ages. I have a sound leadership background which has helped me to actively listen, empathise and motivate individuals no matter the circumstance. Additionally, I am a resilient individual, allowing me to repeatedly tackle problems from different angles until I am able to find a solution.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is help students achieve and realise their goals that traditional teaching could not satisfy. I have always believed that every student should have an equal chance at succeeding academically. However, I believe that schools teach in such a way that forces students to fit into a mode of learning which only benefits particular types of students, neglecting those who cannot learn in the same way that is expected of them. By helping students to attain their goals, this allows them to gain confidence in not only their chosen subjects, but also in themselves.
