What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is the open space for discussion and dialogue it creates for students, which is especially important in subjects such as English. It allows me to engage with young people grappling with new concepts and formulating unique perspectives and ideas, which invigorates the mind of the tutor and student alike, making it a fulfilling experience to be a part of.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One essential strength that I've come to posses as a tutor is my ability to keep students engaged in the material they are learning by cultivating in the students a keen interest and passion in the content being taught. Delivering learning material in a positive and stimulating manner is also another way in which i build student's curiosity and engagement in the subject. I am also very understanding and compassionate of students' circumstances, and therefore I'm able to conduct my tutoring in a supportive and encouraging way that takes into account the specific needs of the student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Listening to students and identifying the areas in which students need additional assistance is one of the most crucial roles of a tutor. Therefore, tutors must be responsive to students by carefully listening to their areas of concern, and taking these into account in order to organize lessons that are best suited for developing the necessary skills of the student to excel in a subject. Furthermore, where students are not completely sure what their areas of concern are, a tutor must be able to pose certain tasks, observe and identify the ways in which a student needs help.
