What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy giving students the guidance and support to learn and grow as individuals. I have a strong focus on allowing students to develop understanding and mastery of the subjects I tutor them in. I feel satisfied when students grasp new concepts and are able to progress with their studies.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a kind, caring and patient person, with experience teaching students with various medical and mental health conditions. My extensive experience allows me to reduce the anxiety of my students, and prepare them both emotionally and in terms of content for their upcoming assessments.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things are to be gentle and to guide the student in a caring way. Listen when the student speaks and take any feedback on board. I like to use the 2 stars and a wish method to identify and recognise students' strengths whilst identifying areas they'd like to work on. Respect is also an important factor and it goes two ways.
