What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing people comprehend new concepts and gain the ability to apply them in theoretical or practical situations.
It is also gratifying if they can then apply the knowledge gained in subject to anther (e.g. apply mathematics concepts to physics)
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths include patience and the ability to imbue the ability in students to solve problems from different angles or to start at first principles.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think it is important to teach that everyone can improve their understanding of subjects by being patient, asking questions even if they consider them 'dumb', being prepared to look at things differently to their peers, their textbooks and their teacher. After all, we can all visualise problems and their solutions differently.
It is also important that they know that we all learn and develop at different rates, but can all make it there in the end.

Received an A in the test and had told his mother his improvement was due to tutoring. Was unable to articulate to me exactly what aspect he thought had helped. Says he is asking questions in class.
Class notes still sparse.
