What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy seeing the transition between a child struggling to understand something to learning and fully comprehending the topic at hand. The feeling of success is exciting to the student, and keeps them wanting to learn more and increase their education.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My biggest strength as a tutor is that I always emphasize that the student discover the answer for themselves. I do not think it is helpful long term to give the students the answers directly. The students need to be given the tools to solve problems for themselves, so they can use these study tools in subsequent questions.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is foster the learning experience, and make it a positive one. If the student enjoys learning, and enjoys the process, they will want to continue working on their education. The choice has to come from the student directly, and can be supported by a great tutor.
