What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing the people whom I have tutored go from seeing a subject in which they are not excelling as a hindrance to one they genuinely enjoy once I have helped explain and improved their comprehension of it. It shows a change in the mind set of the student being tutored that is very rewarding to see as a tutor.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my main strengths are my ability to communicate ideas clearly and create analogies to concepts which students find easier to understand. I am also able to relate to their current struggles with their academics as I used to struggle with mine as well but was able to overcome. Moreover, I am patient and don't get frustrated with the students I tutor when they are having trouble with certain concepts.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I am of the opinion that the most important things for tutors to do is to be patient and make the student feel comfortable. It is perfectly normal not to understand or struggle with ideas that are taught in class immediately and students should feel as though they aren't getting judged because of it.
