What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to focus on the progress of each student as tutoring is generally one-on-one or in a small group setting. I also enjoy that tutoring gives a chance, outside of school, for students to really understand and solidify their knowledge. Which will ultimately enhance their confidence and learning within their school environment.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Adaptability - I am highly effective at differentiating materials to cater to each student's individual strengths and weaknesses. Leadership - I take the initiative to plan lessons with scaffolded instruction to encourage and motivate students as they learn. I always ensure to praise students, when appropriate. Openness - I proactively inquire contextual background of students, respectfully and appropriately, to ensure that I am supporting them in the best way possible.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

It is important for a tutor to understand their students' learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses and adapt each lesson accordingly to specific students. With this, students are more likely to understand what they are trying to learn. As they continue to solidify their knowledge through tutoring, their confidence will boost and hopefully, transferred into their classroom environment.
