What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing a student continuously improve in a subject that they previously had difficulty with and potentially even develop a passion for it over time.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strength as a tutor is that I am very good at tailoring my teaching style to a student's learning style. For each first lesson with a new student, I come prepared with exercises to gauge their proficiency and what types of learning exercises they respond most well to. Additionally, I relate to students very well and have a good memory of the assessments that I did when I was in their grade and am easily able to give them tips from personal experience whenever they undertake their equivalent type of assessment.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing I think a tutor can do for a student is to instil in them a good approach to learning through teaching them practical techniques to work smarter and get more out of the effort that they put into the subject. Demystifying task sheets for a student and teaching them how to manage their time and develop a good working schedule are equally as important as helping them learn the subject content.
