What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I gain great enjoyment when a student understands and excels from my teachings. One of the most satisfying aspects of tutoring is not necessarily seeing a student get an answer correct, but seeing them develop satisfaction and enjoyment from the problem-solving process.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor lie in my explaining capabilities. I try to be flexible for the specific student I am tutoring and in a way that allows me to cater to them specifically. I also have strengths in developing a friendly relationship with my students, as I believe it to be very important for them to respect and enjoy their tutor's company as this creates a good learning environment.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that when the right tutor is paired with the right student, they can help the student to understand the pleasure of academic subjects. A tutor's responsibility, in my opinion, should be to identify why the student may be struggling in that specific area of academics and then to adjust their teaching approach and technique to cater for their individual student. Fundamentally, a tutor should introduce and/or further develop an enjoyment for learning, one which suits the student best and may differ to the students previous learning experiences.Subjects Tutored 🎓

It's important that Phillip identify which solving method applies to whihc questions, with emphasis placed on reading and understanding the questions specifications. Phillip is prone to starting with the wrong process, and wasting time finding this out later in the working out process.

Phillip will need to coninue developing his visual 'sense' of how to complete networks questions, as he is struggling to see how the information in the diagrams is 'auto calculated' for the answer. Phillip will also need to place emphasis on modifying the diagrams with in pen.

Phillip will need to have a thorough understanding of the core content, due to the topics limited Calculator reliance. The resource book is key for success in the topic, and emphasis should be place on maximising it's use / resourcefulness.

Phillip will need to prioritise time in matrices, as it's heavy CAS use can be time consuming. I believe he is competent in matrices, and how we performs on the day will determine his result.
