What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to create that bond with the student, then understanding the student's needs and curating a strategy to improve the ability in their studies. I guess this attitude towards approaching a problem is what made me follow a career as an Engineer. I teach techniques that would strengthen the student's core understanding of the subject, not help them to just answer the questions as that would not be a very sustainable approach.
I enjoy the rewards in tutoring, which is to see the students getting good at the subject. A good example would be when I taught mathematics in school, I had to teach them Differentiation and Integration. It only took me 45 mins (One class) each to perfect differentiation and integration for all 25 students I taught.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Why Me?
I have experience tutoring for 2 years now! Tutoring students from Year 6 all the way up to Year 12. I also had the opportunity to teach Year 11 and 12 students mathematics in high school for 2 months when the mathematics teacher had to take maternity leave. During this time, I found my knack for tutoring and I have been tutoring ever since. Currently, I'm an Engineering student at the University of Western Australia. Being someone who uses advanced Mathematics on a daily basis both in theory and application, I believe I would be the perfect tutor for any student. I managed to become to top achiever in my High school for Mathematics and Chemistry whilst obtaining Distinction for all units.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors need to be patient, not every student is equally as smart, or equally as attentive. You have to find a balance. A great example I think would be is planting a seed. After you put the seed in the ground, you can put all the water in the world, but it's not gonna grow into a tree in just one day, just like a student, you will break the student if you try to teach them the whole syllabus in one class. Just like for a plant, you have to constantly keep putting water every day to make it grow into a tree, just like helping a student grow little by little into an A student.
I've always had the opportunity to be a great role model for the student. Given that I am very open with my failures and successes I believe most students could relate to those experiences and know that they too can achieve anything they put their mind into. I was never the class first or straight A's student all the time, but it was after Year 9 I decided to take full responsibility by making a plan and putting action into the work that I did. Ever since then I always got A grade marks and consistently became one of the top students of the class. I believe that I can help the students to plan out their studies and achieve the best grades they could get given with my own experience!
