What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing a student grow as an individual as they change their relationship with their studies and the mindset they have. It is always rewarding watching a student begin to love the subject they once had difficulty with. These are the biggest successes in tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my a strength I have as a tutor is compassion. I greatly understand how a student may feel and attempt to make them more comfortable with their studies and with me. I believe the first step to ensuring the greatest achievements with tutoring first lie within the relationship between the tutor and student. As well, I am extremely hard-working, but patient. I will always try to challenge the student in their thinking to allow them to grow, not only as a learner but in their mindset towards studying. I am a firm believer that hard work will reap the rewards.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is understand and support them. A student excelling in their studies is not simply a routine of worksheets and practice essays, but learning simple yet effective methods for studying such as flash cards, mind maps and games. It also goes beyond studying and into routines students can implement in their daily life, such as blocking out distractions, time management and reducing stress and anxiety that can make a drastic difference in their grades. A tutor will always place their students at the forefront!
