What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is my ability to help students when they are struggling. When a student is able to comprehend something previously uncertain to them, the look on their face is wonderful. After succeeding in something, students feel that sense of accomplishment and confidence that is incredibly empowering. It is my goal to help young students feel that with perseverance and patience, they can achieve whatever they set out to accomplish.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I completely understand how frustrating it is to feel like something is too hard or too complicated to understand. By being patient, having open discussions and understanding how the student learns, I am able to cater to their individual and unique needs. I feel my biggest strengths are empathy, patience, and my genuine want for students to succeed.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Truly the most important thing any tutor can do for a student is to help create and cultivate a growth mindset. By doing this, students become lifelong, innovative learners. This certainly occurs in the classroom, but teachers are expected to do this to upwards of 20+ children. Tutors are important to students because they assist in expanding student knowledge or provide clarity when a student is uncertain outside the classroom. This is what I can do; support students, and help them reach the potential.
