What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I particularly enjoy watching students going through the process from unknowing to fully-understanding as watching them acquiring knowledge from me gives me a feeling of satisfaction. I also find it rewarding when I am teaching students because it provides an opportunity for me to revise my current knowledge and understanding of some concepts.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think I am a patient tutor who can take as many questions as the student asks and I always check their understanding by asking them additional questions or giving them a few challenging problems in the end of a tutorial. In addition, I am able to work and communicate with students while tackling their problems in their maths assignments and sometimes give them one or two pieces of scientific fun facts when introducing concepts to them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think a tutor's main responsibility is to teach students the methods of learning and to enlighten their curiosity to new things rather than spoon feeding them with knowledge besides answering their questions and giving them assignments. Helping a student to learn independently and to seek answers by themselves is far more important than providing them answers directly as the student will be more confident of solving problems by himself using the former way. Otherwise, they will solely rely on their tutors and be incapable of facing challenges independently.
