Helping students understand concepts they find challenging and encouraging them to find different ways which will help them best understand the material being looked at

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am positive and encouraging, and want my students to be vocal about anything they are unsure of or do not understand. I am also patient having worked with those who have learning and behavioural challenges

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Communicate with the student to find what areas challenge them most If there are assessments throughout the year, make a timeline to work on various topics (with some flexibility of course) Work through questions - the best way to find out where difficulties lie and where errors are being made is to practice, because practice makes perfect Keep parent/guardian up to date about child's progress
