What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I would love to communicate with my students as my friend. I do not feel like I teach them rather I would like discuss with them about lessons. I want to learn from my students as well when we together solve the problems. They might have different methods/thinking compared to me. I think, besides technical knowledge, it is my communication skills. According to my friends, I always make the comfortable feelings when they talk with me. I would love to listen to other interests and share my experience to them. In that way, it builds a trustful relationship between me and my students. Based on my experience, I would love to help my students to find out the most appropriate study method for them. As I was in secondary school, science subjects were not my preferable subjects at all. I learnt it by heart and completely did not understand the theories behind at all. My method was not appropriate as it is more suitable for geography or history. Understand that, I adjust my behaviours, for example, asking my teacher for help, doing more working example and so forth.
