As a tutor i believe that I am very approachable. In this sense, I am able to freely talk to students in a way that would not intimidate them, but rather be on the same wavelength as them. This helps students to open up and allows me to see their strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, from my experience as an instructor, I am used to quick thinking and improvisation when things do not go as expected. In this aspect, I believe that maintaining a professional environment even when things do not go right incites students to trust their tutor.Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them build small skills which they are able to use in their lives. Need to spend less time over explaining an idea. Sometimes I went too overboard explaining something that was not relevant. I need to keep track of time as there were things I planned to do at the end of the lesson but did not have enough time for it
