What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I most enjoy watching the students grow in confidence in their own abilities as they overcome their weaknesses. It reminds me of when I drastically improved my maths grades and performance within the BBC Pipe Band, both with the help of tutors.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am easily able to relate with students who have struggled in the past. This makes it easier for me to help them overcome their difficulties and grow in their abilities rather than giving up.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to take the fear out of a daunting or difficult subject area by guiding students through it in proper detail. In my experience as a student, when students become overwhelmed by a sudden spike in difficulty or complexity, their performance is hampered more by their own lack of self confidence rather than the subject difficulty itself. Tutors can greatly help students remove the fear of a difficult subject by guiding them through it at whatever level necessary so to build the student's self confidence.
