What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The feeling of accomplishment; Knowing that due to my efforts and work, a student will be able to not only improve their grades but also have a greater appreciation for their subjects. I enjoy also the general act of teaching and explaining, being able to comprehensively explain complex ideas, and succeeding in it brings me great joy. Finally, being able to teach is the ultimate form of understanding ideas, so I am certain that by tutoring, I will also benefit simultaneously.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience, empathy, and experience. It is vital to understand that all students learn at different rates and as such patience from a tutor is crucial for success. It is pivotal to slow down and allow students to digest complex ideas rather than moving too quickly. Having experienced both good and bad tutoring, I understand comprehensively what students need from a tutor. I will, therefore, provide a high standard of teaching. Finally, my previous experience mentoring students has also endowed me with vital skills and habits that I am certain will result in me being an outstanding tutor.

The most important things are to improve a student's grades, instill long-lasting confidence with the subject and build an appreciation for it. It is necessary for a tutor to improve a student's results in school, but, a tutor's impacts should extend beyond just short term improvements; Their role must also have a long term beneficial impact on the student. This can only be done by building a strong appreciation and confidence with a subject. A tutor's success thus cannot be determined by just the grades of a student, but also by the student's changed outlook to his studies.
