What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have not tutored before but I think it would be a really great opportunity for me to give back to the community. I’ve been wanting to increase my involvement in the community and I feel as though helping students to further understand studies is a great way for me to contribute. This opportunity would further my skills by teaching different people, as well as providing aspects of leadership.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Well, through my experience as a crew chief and manager at McDonald’s I was given the opportunity to train up many different people. I understand different ways people learn and it is important to figure this out in the early stages of their training (in this case, tutoring). I have not had prior experience as a tutor but I would try very hard to become a great tutor and mentor for the students.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe an important component of tutoring is patience, ensuring that the student completely understands the topic before moving on. This leads into following up. Following up the previous session for a couple of minutes in the next lesson is highly beneficial as the student can show their understanding of the topic, allowing the opportunity to go over it again. I think the personal one on one time with a tutor allows the student to feel comfortable to ask questions, ones they otherwise would not ask in class.Testimonials 🏆
