What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Unlike teaching a class of 20 students, tutoring gives me more space with my students, allowing me to connect to them and understand their struggle with the language more easily. Thus, when a student eventually gets the gist of a language point, it is a moment of exhilaration for me as a tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

First of all, in terms of language, I have a great command of English and teaching methodology as I hold a Bachelor Degree in English Linguistics and Literature. Additionally, I understand that English in particular and languages in general, evolve everyday, therefore, I never cease to keep my language updated. I want to 'receive' and 'produce' language naturally and contextually. Second, speaking of my personality, I have been known as a caring and considerate person. I am self-aware and sensitive to people's feelings. That makes me capable of noticing changes in a student's emotion.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As mentioned above, tutoring gives me more space to understand a student's difficulty. Thus, I believe that a tutor's biggest responsibility is to patiently guide the student through that difficulty, in other words, to unlock their ability to comprehend a lingual matter. Additionally, a tutor's role also encompasses helping the students gain more confidence with the language they are learning and inspiring them to love the language itself.
