What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love working with children, seeing their progression of learning and how each time something 'clicks,' their self confidence increases. I've thoroughly enjoyed building relationships with all the kids I've tutored and finding a learning style and pace that suits them.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

-building a good relationship with the student -explaining topics with understanding and patience in terms the student can understand -encouraging the student to do their best, being a 'cheer leader' -helping students build their self confidence

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them see their academic potential and develop a love of learning. It is crucial as students go through schooling to see the benefits of learning and develop a strong work ethic. I believe all children learn at an individual pace and that it is critical to have patience and make sure they understand before moving on, to try and communicate topics in a way they understand and to offer plentiful amounts of praise, for not only when they succeed but also for when they do not but are trying their hardest.
