What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The feeling of accomplishment and the seeing the moment when a student is able to "click" with a concept they had been struggling on is what i enjoy most about tutoring. Tutoring is also enjoyable for me as i find that teaching students helps me brush up on some concepts that i haven't looked at in awhile which has proven to help with my studies.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor is being able to adapt my teaching to a variety of students based on their learning ability by being able to explain a concept in multiple ways.
Another strong point of my tutoring is being able to pin point the issue with a student not being able to do as well as they can be by figuring out whether its an issue they have with understanding the overall concept, the method or even their study habits.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing for a tutor to do is not answer the students homework for them but to lead them to the answer, whether it would be going back to help them understand the concept, method or what the question is asking. Guiding the student towards developing better study habits and organisational skills is also important as these would in the long-term help reduce stress and improve marks.
