What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy teaching all kinds of math related subjects, which I find them very interesting to learn and discover. The most enjoyable part is helping people to discover the fun from math and follow the logic behind every equation/question.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My tutoring experiences made me realize the common obstacles people face when it comes to math, such as people find it difficult to understand fully when a new topic takes place. However, most often cases are just combining two concepts from previous topics which might seem unrelated but they actually do. I am currently a student and sometimes found myself struggling in math, which allows me to follow their mindsets and obstacles when dealing with math.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I understand that blindly teaching could not help students in understanding, it is necessary to understand or feel their struggles too. As students could be shy or embarrassed to ask questions and the learning progress would stop by there, thus a tutor should show more care and patience to students. Especially for math, it is also important to clear misconceptions and so students would not follow the wrong logic. At last, the most important thing a tutor can do is not to teach as a teacher, but to teach as a learner like students, so students would not feel distant from tutoring.
