What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

When I was still studying for my high school examinations, I felt that tutoring is a good way to recap what I learnt in school. It was a way to explain concepts so that I would understand better. By tutoring others, I can also gain more perspectives about a topic, and gain a deeper understanding through the tutee's questions. From another point of view, tutoring is extremely satisfying as you can help someone who is struggling with his/her studies to finally understand something that he/she would otherwise take extremely long to.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, I feel that I possess the following qualities as a tutor. - I am patient when teaching concepts as I was a slow learner myself back in high school, often seeing how friends and teachers take their time to explain concepts to me without getting angsty. - I am a self-motivated individual who always try to give my best in whatever I do. I would read up on the topics beforehand and familiarise myself with the subject to ensure that no time is wasted trying to remember things that i forgot. - I came from an extremely competitve studying environment (Singapore)

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

- Maximise their learning time, that is, to make sure that they retain most of the knowledge taught to them at the end of the day - Positive teaching methods to encourage and motivate them to study - Being prepared for lessons so that productivity can be improved
