What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I appreciate the opportunity given to me of teaching a student the subject that I am passionate about. Teaching a science and maths (my favourite high school subject) sparks a joy in me and is one of the activities that rejuvenate me itself as well.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being able to think of different ways one concept can be shaped and explained such that one way or another will spark the light of understanding for the student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
> Build trust and rapport - So the student does not feel shy or dumb to ask away any question or any tiny doubt that's lingering on their mind
> Understand and focus on your student's goal - Each student has different goals and ambitions, so it's important you steer your lessons accordingly and not just throwing away information expected for any 'normal' student

I was able to identify the gaps Joanna lacked due to which she didn't understand the questions she got wrong. It was also great that she now had an understanding of what she did wrong, so she wouldn't repeat them in future.
Just need to consolidate the gaps in her understanding.

This time i decided to bring upon harder questions. The questions were exam-type. The questions were therefore quite hard, and Josephine was able to get through those with assistance and soon able to solve them.
Josephine did struggle with exam type questions. Because of high difficulty level, it is okay. I will as per Josephine's feedback try build up from basics again.
